This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 7, Issue 2, Page 42. Mar/Apr 1983. This handsome stand is sturdy enough to take most TVs - even the large ones.
There's a shelf on the bottom for books (when there's nothing on TV!), and a
drawer for the remotes and the program guide from the newspaper. Construction
calls for a couple of stopped dadoes, some edge-gluing and some simple drawer
joinery. This is a good project for all skill levels.
