This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 3, Issue 2, Page 14. Mar/Apr 1979. With a gently arched headboard, turned legs and factory-made bed hardware (call
800-610-0883 for a free catalog), the most complicated aspect of this very attractive,
sturdy and easy-to-build project is a couple of mortise and tenon joints in
the head and footboards. You'll need access to a lathe for the legs, and you
should have your box spring and mattress on hand before you start cutting lumber.
