Although it looks exotic, the walnut burl on this humidor is domestic and the ebonized portions are just dyed plantation mahogany. Mitered joints, routed moldings and some inexpensive hardware complete the job. Learn a few shop tricks along the way, too, such as using strapping tape as a clamp, and how to safely rip small moldings on the table saw. The interior is lined with Spanish cedar, a great way to add something special to the taste of a good stogie.Note: this plan is a photocopy of the original article.
