This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 17, Issue 5, Page 27. Sep/Oct 1993. Even though it has 102 separate pieces, this Intarsia project is no more difficult
than any other. It's just a matter of taking your time to create this incredible
wall sculpture - a full 34" from wingtip to talon! Just follow the full-size
patterns to band saw each piece to shape, sand its edges, then glue it in place.
A remarkable optical feast when completed, this American icon is well within
the skill level of just about any woodworker.
Approx: 20" wide x 34" tall: Can be scaled smaller.
