This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 18, Issue 3, Page 52. May/Jun 1994. This pup is adorable... at least by anyone whose shoes he hasn't found! It's
an Intarsia sculpture of a Basset (or Beagle?) pup, chewing contentedly on somebody's
slipper. This form of woodworking calls for bandsawing the parts to size, shaping
them on a belt or disk sander, then gluing them to a backboard or each other.
This plan is a great way to get into Intarsia: you get detailed, step-by-step
instructions and a full-size pattern.
Approx: 8" wide x 6" high
