This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 14, Issue 5, Page 48. Sep/Oct 1990. Rosewood and bird's-eye maple come together in this most traditional of Japanese
dining sets, a true showcase for the dramatic contrasts in the species' colors
and grains. The sushi board is essentially five broad slats, suspended above
the table on angled feet. A small cup holds condiments like horseradish sauce,
while a depression across the slats is home to chopsticks. The plan shows you
an ingenious way to make your own chopsticks, too.
