This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 11, Issue 2, Page 33. Mar/Apr 1987.Built in the traditional English garden style, this sturdy and appealing outdoor
bench and table set is crafted in clear redwood, although white oak, mahogany
and teak would all be acceptable substitutes. The joinery is not terribly difficult,
although beginning woodworkers will have some challenges with the mortise and
tenon construction.
