This project plan appeared in Woodworker's Journal Volume 15, Issue 5, Page 64. Sep/Oct 1991. Learn how to make a tapered box with finger joints on the corners. You'll need
a table saw with a dado head, plus a router with a flush trimming bit. A disk
sander would be nice, but not necessary. This recipe box has a lid with a card
holder built in, so you just select a card from within, close the box, and stand
the card up on the lid in easy view while you cook. This is a wonderful gift
idea for your favorite chef.
Approx: 6" square
