Make a Solid Wood Luggage Tag with a CNC Router
This nifty little project is a fun and attractive way to not lose your luggage!
For those of you who own or have access to a CNC router, with the free .tap and .crv files (download here) you can make your own version of this handy little project. It is a custom-made luggage tag that will help you spot your luggage in a snap, and will accept a standard business card. We used an 1/8-inch straight bit to machine 1/8-inch thick lumber. The two pieces are glued together to form the completed tag. Take care not to get glue squeeze-out on the inside of the lamination.
Proper tag cutout.
