Thanks, and Look Here!
First of all, I am very thankful and a bit overwhelmed at the response I received from you all regarding marriage advice. Some of it was funny, some of it was kind and thoughtful, and some of it was both together. I can easily see why this group of woodworkers have successful marriages. (See the Feedback section for some examples.)
Second, here is an image of some of my handmade fishing lures. Sadly, I must report that while I caught a lot of fish this spring … I did not catch even one fish on my new persimmon diving lures (despite nicknaming them the Persimmon Persuaders!). Part of the reason for that was the crappies started biting and I went a little goofy fishing for them. Fear not, the summer is not over, and my divers will do their job at some point in time!

The duck an the fish are hand carved from recycled wood. I enjoy carving and only use recycled wood.
Woodworkers provide an overwhelming response to Rob’s call for premarital advice. This week’s topic: whether cleaning the house with a leaf blower is good for marital harmony.

Blending wood filler is a skill mastered by experience and experimentation.
