Chris, This is a good story and as a professional framer, I wasn't offended at all. I have actually found a good idea for helping people with their own frames. Several members of my woodworking guild have brought me items and frames to help select the mat and cut the glass to fit. Much cheaper for them and it leads to a much more professional project. You can cut Mat board yourself but usually the selection at the local hobby shops are limited. Glass or glazing is something else. I carry 5 kinds of glass plus plexi. If your framing a digital photo you printed locally it's not a biggie, but if you are doing something that has a legacy value you should really consider using glass with a UV coating to protect it. Please, make your own frame, but check and see if your local custom frame shop will work with you at a reasonable cost to help you complete the project. Keep up the good work. Greg
