Sometimes being Woodworker’s Journal’s “Field” Editor, I feel like I’m way, way out in some field. What I mean here is, I’m one step removed from the day-to-day feedback we receive in our home office from readers about what we publish. A lot of mail comes in, but generally I don’t get to see it. I work from home, which is several states away.

Milwaukee Expands Trade Tool Offerings

As I mentioned in a previous post, Milwaukee Electric Tools opened their doors this week to show off what’s new and exciting in power and hand tools. In a very cool venue I might add—Harley Davidson’s Motorcycle Museum in Milwaukee.

Bosch Pouring it on in 2010

Earlier this month I was one of several dozen press people who got a first look at some exciting new tools and accessories coming soon from Bosch. It’s the second year I’ve had the chance to be “in the know” at Bosch headquarters for a very special event they call the Global Leadership Tour.

Although the month of June is still a couple of calendar flips away, we here at Woodworker’s Journal are more than happy to jump the gun and get Summer 2010 underway! I’m happy to report that your new June print issue is off the presses and in the mail. You should be receiving your copy very shortly. Let’s all get summer on the brain, shall we?
