My 8-year-old granddaughter saw a loft bed on TV and asked if I would build one for her. I found a plan and modified it. It's made of pine instead of the plan's maple because she wanted it painted. Her mom and dad picked up the components and planned to paint the bed before final assembly. However, little Lindsay won the battle of having it put up in her room unpainted. They plan to paint it sometime in the future!! By the way, I made the dollhouse book case for her three years ago.
