Sawing Thin Metal
A sheet of thin metal can easily be sawn by clamping it in a vise between two pieces of plywood or Masonite™. You can then saw through the wood and metal sandwich with a hacksaw. If you need a wider slot, use two or even three blades in your hacksaw frame.
