I recently experienced a flood in my workshop and all my powertools were under water for several hours. They were all corded, if that makes a difference. My question is how to clean them and make them useable again??? A couple are only a few months old, so I don’t want to lose them. I’d appreciate your help. Thanks.

Jim, The only thing that comes to my mind is use a hair dryer or heat gun on the motor assembly and do it in a manner as not to overheat and melt any wiring. If any of your tools are under warranty take them to an authorized dealer and explain to them your situation. Sorry about your situation that really sucks, Good luck, but most of all be very careful water and electricity can kill you! Bob

I have built a few things from these plans. One is the cabinet for the garage. With the shelves in the door. You saved me tons of money. I’ve been super impressed with your products and customer service. Seems like everything you make is top notch, and customer service has been outstanding. God bless you, Charles.
