Cutting Tapered Legs on a Table Saw

Cutting Tapered Legs on a Table Saw

When cutting tapered legs I will cut a piece of masonite (hardboard) to cover the top of my table saw. The fence and a couple of squeeze clamps will hold it place. Turn the saw on and slowly raise blade to desired height. This allows leg and taper jig to slide smoothly thru cut and also gives me a zero clearance plate.
