FEIN has two new shop vacuums, the Turbo I and Turbo II, with container volumes of 5.8 gallons and 8.4 gallons, respectively. Both are powered with a 1,100-watt motor but maintain a sound pressure level of 67 decibels. FEIN says the included fleece filter bag can hold two to three times more dust than a paper version. With a new standard outlet on the Turbo I and II, the user can adjust the suction power at the coupling as needed. An autostart function means the vacuum cleaner starts automatically when the connected power tool is switched on. A storage area on the vacuum holds power tools, hand tools or other materials. Two cord/hose hooks are available to the left and right of the cover for cord and hose storage. The hose for the Turbo I and II is 13 feet long and 13⁄8″ in diameter, and it can be increased with the addition of an 8-foot extension. Large wheels on the Turbo I and II rotate 360˚ for easy maneuverability. Prices for the Turbo I and Turbo II are listed at $389 and $500.
