Gorilla Wood Glue

Gorilla Wood Glue

Woodworkers have trusted the strength and convenience of polyvinyl acetate (PVA) wood glues for decades. What you may not know is that the Gorilla Glue Company offers its own PVA formulation – Gorilla Wood Glue – and has for a couple of years now.

It’s nontoxic, solvent-free and, according to the company, offers a higher bond strength and lower application temperature (as low as 55 degrees Fahrenheit) than other comparable woodworking glues. It’s also non-foaming and has no dyes, so it dries to a natural color that resists yellowing. Gorilla Wood Glue passes Type II water-resistance specifications, so it’s suitable for both interior and exterior use. It cleans up easily with soap and water. You can find it at many home centers, lumberyards and other retailers in both 8 and 18 ounce bottles.
