Print Ad Specifications

Electronic Specifications:

• Macintosh format; Quark Xpress (v. 6.5 or higher), Adobe Photoshop CS (v. 8 or higher) or Adobe Illustrator CS (v. 11 or higher)
• PDF/X-1a:2001 (with fonts embedded): When exporting from InDesign to a PDF, select the PDF/X-1a:2001 Adobe PDF Preset
• Disks accepted: CDs or DVDs
• Please include all images, fonts (printer & screen), and a contract-color proof of the advertisement
• Ads created in other programs should be saved as EPS or PDF files with a minimum resolution of 300 dots per inch. (Please embed fonts.)
• Please note that your print ad will also run in a digital version of the magazine. If you would like your digital advertisement’s URL to hyperlink to your website, please make sure that the URL is embedded in the ad as a text field (and not an image).
