Curiosity in the Air

I spent some time in and near Los Angeles in the early 1970s. As Johnny Carson once said of the smog, “It’s bad out there … yesterday I took a deep breath and chipped a tooth!” Fortunately for all of us, air pollution not what it once was. But that is outside — what about in your shop?

The technology for dust prevention, collection and extraction has improved over the years. And, like the world outside our shops, many of us do better than we used to do protecting our lungs. Even so, from my perspective, there is a new wave of dust removal technology coming down the pike — and I am wondering how many of us are looking for this new level of air filtration.

So what about you? Are you concerned about your current level of particulate removal? Are you looking to upgrade your ambient air filters?

I will share my thoughts about this when you share yours!
