Recently, the Woodworker’s Journal did some surveying among online woodworkers to find out what you all are up to. It was quite a long and wide-ranging survey, but some of the questions were about social media. I have to say that I just love woodworkers! Some of the responses were “Huh? What’s that?” Others were more enthusiastic and some, just confused: “I don’t like socialism!”
But one social media site got good reviews from this big bunch of woodworkers … Facebook. Even some folks who a few questions earlier said “I don’t know what social media is,” then responded that they had a Facebook page. (My dad would have likely answered that way. He always referred to the Internet as “the email.”)
So, with that information at hand, I thought that I would mention that Woodworker’s Journal has a Facebook page — and it is a great way to keep up with what we are doing and to see what other woodworkers are thinking — whether you like socialism or not!
