Metabo ST105Plus Jig Saw: Flexibility, Power and Control

Metabo ST105Plus Jig Saw: Flexibility, Power and Control

Metabo’s new ST105Plus Jig Saw has varying speeds and a variety of features. The key facts about these features are that they give you flexibility, control and power.
Flexibility – and the versatility for a wide range of cutting tasks – comes from a beveling sole plate with positive stops at 15, 30 and 45 degrees. Control comes from a barrel grip design that keeps your hand close to the work surface. And power comes from a 6 amp motor that develops 62 inch pounds of torque. It’s enough to cut through wood up to 4-1/8″ thick (plus up to 1-3/16″ in metal and 3/8″ in sheet steel).

The STE105 Plus, with five-stage orbital blade motion, also has variable speed settings which range from 1,000 to 3,000 no-load strokes per minute. Cutting accuracy is improved by grooved needle bearing roller guides that limit lateral blade movement, while clear visibility at the cutting line comes from a blower which continuously blows sawdust out of the way.

Other features of the 5.7 pounds ST105, which sells for around $209, include the Metabo “Quick” tool-free blade changing system, a carrying case, anti-splintering insert, jig saw blade and Allen wrench. For more information, call 800-638-2264 or visit Metabo.com/.
