The New Mini-Clamp-It: Sometimes Smaller is Better

The New Mini-Clamp-It: Sometimes Smaller is Better

While those of us raised in the fast food generation may have trouble with the concept (could I super-size that please?), bigger is not always better. Rockler’s original assembly square, the Clamp-It” was a very popular product. Woodworker’s needed only one look to decide that it would make their life a lot easier. But folks making jewelry boxes, small drawers, etc. found that sometimes it was too large for the task at hand.

Enter the new Mini-Clamp-It. It’s half the size of its big brother, but just as useful. Measuring 4″ x 4″ x 1-1/4″ it’s made of the same high quality polycarbonate material as the larger model and accepts 4″ Mini-bar clamps in friction fit slots. It’s like having a third hand during glue ups. Whether you are aligning miters or assembling classic box joints, this clamp will deliver a perfect 90° corner every time.

The new Mini-Clamp-It retails for around $7.99 each or about a dollar less if you buy a set of four or more. You can find them at Rockler.com.
