Queen-size Maple Bed

This is my first piece of furniture, a queen size bed made of 8/4 hard maple.  It is assembled by way of mortise & tenon joinery. I really enjoyed making this piece, and I am definitely going to make a dresser and two night stands to match. I’m currently working up the sketches and dimensions.
