Spring Cleaning

Rob-Portrait351As warmer weather slowly makes its way onto the tundra where I live, I can now consider the idea of rolling my shop’s overhead door up and cleaning up a winter’s worth of clutter. Cleanliness, while it might be next to godliness, it is not my natural environment. I seem to thrive in a state of disorganization and actually get a little nervous when my shop is shipshape and tidy. (Fortunately, it only takes me a fraction of the time to get “a good mess on” as it does to clean the place up.)

I used to be a bit embarrassed by my quick path to clutter, until we had a messy shop contest here in the eZine many years ago. It soon became clear that I was a piker when it came to a messy workplace. Now, on the other hand, I know that many of you all have a drive to be tidy and organized — and it is you I hope to hear from this time around.

So, are you super-organized in your shop? Do you have pictures to prove it? If so, send them to us and we will share the ones we like the best. This is your time to shine!
