Rockler Woodworking and Hardware has added Electric 12-string and Bass Guitar Kits to its family of musical instrument kits. The all-inclusive kits contain the components necessary to create a high quality electric guitar, including a solid wood body (paulownia for the 12-string and basswood for the bass), bolt-on maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, pickups and controls, plus all of the necessary chrome hardware for the bridge, tuning pegs, string and a ΒΌ-inch guitar plug. Once the wooden components are sanded, a custom finish of paint or stain can be applied. The Electric 12-string Guitar Kit (item 55880) and Electric Bass Guitar Kit (item 57403) are each priced at $134.99.
