The new Straight Edge System (item number 36495) from Rockler Woodworking and Hardware includes two 52″ extruded aluminum edges that can be locked end to end or used separately for cuts with a circular saw, jigsaw or router. Also included is apower tool guide which locks a saw or router to the straight edges, two T-track clamps to lock edges in place, a T-fence attachment to turn the system into a T-square and an adjustable handle to move the system from one project to another. The design is meant to improve accuracy and safety of cuts on 4×8 pieces of sheet stock. An erasable story stick also allows woodworkers to make temporary story sticks without parking on their stock.
