Painting wood is a topic that generates strong feelings. For example, many folks love the look of a freshly painted wooden chair. Other people have equated painting wood to putting ketchup on a high-dollar porterhouse steak (which I understand is still a capital offense in some of the western counties of Texas).
With the volatile nature of the discussion properly acknowledged, I am still curious: Do you think there is a time and a place for painted furniture projects? If your loved one looked at a nifty little end table you had just completed and said, “Honey, that would look great in white enamel!” would you wilt slowly into a sad little ball, or perhaps agree?
Let the discussion begin!
