Here are my grandkids’ Christmas presents: 2/3 size replicas of Stickley rocking chairs.
One is made from quartersawn white oak and the other from red oak. All mortise and tenon joinery.
The finish is a Jeff Jewitt four step process recommended for Stickley furniture. The color is Oak Park brown – like the woodworking found in the Frank Lloyd Wright houses from that area.
