Umm, That Would Be … Yes
In the last issue of the eZine, I asked if any of your four-footed friends shared your shop with you. All I can say is thank you for not starting out your many email responses with “Well, duh!” Apparently, woodshops are havens not only for woodworkers, but for their pets as well. I can’t say I am surprised. Pets have been enriching people’s live for thousands of years, and they are amazingly adaptable. Even so, I have to say that I was touched by the comments many of you sent about furry-faced shop buddies, past and present. You can read some of them for yourself in our Feedback department.
And yes, the photo replacing mine (above left) is my dog Leeroy (aka bone-breath to those that love him), a devoted shop dog.

P.S. And here is my 11-year old English pointer, Gilly. She is also accomplished at sleeping in my woodworking shop.
