As I mentioned in the last eZine, last week I spent a good bit of time at the AWFS woodworking trade show in Las Vegas. While I am not a Las Vegas sort of dude, walking the show and seeing old friends and new cool products really lifted me up. Woodworking has been one of the constants in my life since I was a young man, and it is good to see it doing well. We all know that change is the only true constant, and that is true in woodworking without a doubt. But even with CNC machines, fancy laser this or that and other newfangled stuff abounding at the show, at its center was still the fact that woodworking continues to be an important part of the fabric of many cultures and nations.
I like that.
