Can you tell if a finish is finished (too old) by looking at it?
Michael Dresdner: Usually not, but one common characteristic is prolonged drying time. Do a test by putting a drop out on a piece of glass and note how long it takes to dry hard. If it takes too long or dries too soft or rubbery, toss it.
