Which aftermarket table saw guard would you recommend for an old Sears Craftsman 10″ table saw?
Carol Reed: I’d make my own from the original Sears guard if you have it. All you need is the splitter portion. Fasten a flat piece of plastic to the top to deflect sawdust from being thrown in your face but still allow good visibility.
John Brock: I have and really like the Biesemeyer guard. It is attached to the edge of a side extension table, so it stays out of the way for large sheet goods, and works for dadoes, too. I retrofitted mine with a duct for my dust collection system. I think the new ones come with a dust fitting.
