Using Finish on Purpleheart

I’m in the process of building a baker’s rack with purpleheart on the top. What type of finish will maintain the purple color and still be tough?

John Brock: Nothing will work forever. Some exterior coatings contain UV blockers, and that will help, as will keeping the piece out of bright sunlight. Eventually, however, it will turn color anyway.
