OK … It’s a Bit Nippy
Up until just recently, the weather here on the Minnesota tundra has been — well, wimpy. We even had a 50-degree day in the middle of December! (It made us all very nervous.) But the new year has come in with an arctic blast from north of the border, and we are all feeling much more at ease as we jumpstart each other’s cars.
Unfortunately, the boiler in my woodshop chose the coldest day of the season to go on the fritz. So, Artie the furnace guy is on his way as I try to avoid burning down the shop with space heaters. Which made me wonder how the rest of you deal with cold weather in your shops. For some of you (in the Southern U.S or even the Southern Hemisphere), this is not a big problem. But I am always impressed with the problem-solving abilities of my fellow woodworkers, so I am looking forward to hear your responses!
