I’m Ready for My Close-up, Mr. DeMille!

I think I am ready to make a bold statement: After a bit of consideration, I have come to the conclusion that this Internet thing is more than a passing fad — I believe it just may stick around for a while. All kidding aside (which, as you know, is hard for me), the Internet as a means to share information is truly a wonderful media. And that is just it: the web offers us the opportunity to communicate in a variety of media formats — print, photography, illustration and even video. It’s that last item that I want to bring a quick focus to today.

As you may know, Woodworker’s Journal has been supplementing our print and Internet products with web-based video for some time now. Recently we’ve started gathering it together onto a single web page. There, you’ll find it is divided into categories to help you easily find useful video content. Check it out. I think there is something there for almost every woodworker … and we are adding to it all the time.

After you check it out, let me know what you think. If there are videos that you’d like to see, tell me and we will put them in the pipeline — the Internet pipeline, that is.
