Why Does Framing Lumber Have Rounded Edges?
I’ve often wondered about the slight roundover used on all four edges on the length of framing lumber. Is it only to make it look good, more comfortable, or create fewer splinters?

RPM for a Forstner Bit
I purchased a good quality Forstner bit, but the bit should only be run at 350 rpm. My drill press won’t go slower than 620 rpm. Do you know of anything I can do?
